To commemorate the birth centenary celebration in memory of great mathematician Ramanujan as well to tap mathematics talent while arousing interest among school children, MAHALERNING EDUCATION started conducting mathematics talent hunt every year under the banner of Maha Maths Genius Ramanujan Awards among school children. The test is free of cost.
This is well supported by schools, school management, principals, teachers as well by parents and brings more and more enthusiasm to MAHALEARNING EDUCATION in extending this program coverage year by year.
In year 2012, The Honorable Prime Minister of India, inaugurated “Mathematics Genius Ramanujan” 125th year celebrations at the University Centenary Auditorium, Chennai.
The test is entirely based on the Board syllabus. For each grade, the test is based on the portions covered in the previous grade (ie VI will write a test based on what they learnt in V grade, VII will write based on VI portions, and so on).
The preliminary round includes is a 20 minute test. Toppers from preliminary round get selected for the next final round which will be of thirty minute duration.
The preliminary test is conducted online on MahaLearning’s website or via schools. The final round will be held at a common venue, where the selected students from the preliminary round will participate.
The test will consist of objective type questions only. The test is automated, and is evaluated instantly by the system. A comprehensive report, inclusive of score and feedback will be generated instantly, as soon as the student finishes the test.

Once registered, you can proceed with the test at any time convenient to you, perhaps even after several days, after the student feels he/she is prepared for the test.

In the year 2009 Mahalearning conducted Kanitha Methai Ramanujan Maha Maths Quiz Competition in which around one hundred thousand students participated from one hundred and thirteen schools from Chennai. The final award ceremony was conducted in Pavalar Arangam on Feb 19, 2009 and occasion was graced with the presence of by Shri. G.K. Vasan, Honourable Central Minister for Shipping, Shri G. Arivoli, the then Director of Libraries and Shri P.A. Naresh, then Chief Educational Officer, Chennai.
Every year Mahalearning supports mock model exam competition for the board going students of Chennai.
In the year 2011, this was conducted in association with Madras Christian College School, Chennai to support in achieving hundred percent results where more than 1000 students participated.
Our subject matter experts conducted orientation program for Board going students on the same day.
The Year 2013 MAHALEARNING EDUCATION conducted Maha Maths Genius Ramajujan Award 2013 Competition in which around thirty five thousand students participated from 55 schools across United Arab Emirates. The finals as well finals award ceremony was conducted in the BITS Pilani Auditorium, Dubai on June 21, 2013.
The occasion was graced in the presence of Mr. Vineet Joshi IAS, Chairman CBSE & Dr. Sadhana Parashar, Director of Training & Academics CBSE, Dr. V.R.S. Sampath, President, Institute of International Educational Services, Chennai, Mr. Radhakrishnan Nair, Principal Sharjah Indian School & Secretary, Gulf Council, Dr. R.K. Mittal, Director and Senior Professor, BITS Pilani, Dubai, Mr. Abdul Kareem Venkitangu, President Muslim Education Society, UAE Chapter, Adv Mr. Najeeth, Chairman, Gulf Model School, Mr. M.N. Raja, Managing Director, Sharan’s Group, Chennai, Mr. Ibrahim Haji, Chairman, Malabar Gold, Mr. Kumar, Member Indian Association along with other key educationalist from United Arab Emirates.
Mr. Jitin Prasada, Honorable Union Minister of State for Human Resources Development, (School Education), Government of India had given his consent to participate in this function, but could not attend.
Mr. Radakrishnan welcomed the audience with motivating speech followed by address by the dignatories and award presentation. Mrs K. Krishnaveni, Managing Director, MAHALEARNING conveyed the vote of thanks to one and all.
Along with the dignitaries, Teachers, Parents and Students along with their siblings who drove from various Emirates by driving long distances, schools inclusive of management , principals, teachers and preliminary round participants, all contributed to the success of the finals along with the MAHALEARNING EDUCATION/BITECH Team, well wishers and sponsors.
